RESIDENTIAL
Unless you’re searching for a custom-designed decorative film, we generally bring the supplies to install the film the same day of the consultation. During this meeting, our contractor will thoroughly inspect all of your windows and take initial measurements. This is when samples and pricing are offered. You have complete control over whether or not you want the film installed right now or at a later date.
Step Two: Window Film Preparation
COMMERCIAL
We always double-check your film selections are to your satisfaction before preparing commercial windows. This is particularly vital for custom decorative film applications and tinted films. If you have any particular needs, such as security clearances, we’ll have them at this time. Cleaning the windows on a commercial project entails using a razor blade and specific non-toxic cleansers to make the window as smooth and clean as possible for lasting adhesion.
RESIDENTIAL
We first clean your windows before installation to ensure that they are free of any rough spots. Following that, you’ll choose which product should be used on which window. We will cut everything to size right there and then, ensuring that no material is wasted and the installation goes as smoothly as possible. This is one of the benefits of bringing films with us.
Step Three: Window Film Installation
We cut and measure the window films for each specific situation during an installation. During this phase, we double-check that all surfaces have been cleaned. Then, using C-Bond2 as a window film primer, we apply the films to windows. This high-tech adhesion method improves glass on by strengthening it on a molecular level. It also makes for the longest-lasting window film installations.
Post-Installation
When done, we leave your space as clean, if not cleaner than when we found it. We kindly ask you to refrain from cleaning your windows for 30 days post-installation. Film needs time to cure; any agitation might jeopardize its effectiveness. Bubbles may appear during the typical drying period. They should never be popped since this may affect the window film’s performance. If bubbles do develop, don’t worry; contact us right away, and we’ll take care of it free of charge for you.
